Terms and Conditions for SENIOR.EXPERT
1. Scope of Application
1.1. These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "T&Cs") govern the use of the network portal SENIOR.EXPERT (hereinafter "Portal") provided by SENIOR.EXPERT (hereinafter "Operator"). 1.2. By registering and using the Portal, users (hereinafter "Users") agree to these T&Cs in their entirety and in their current form.
2. Services Provided by the Operator
2.1. The Operator provides the Portal as a platform where Users can communicate, exchange information, and build networks. 2.2. The Operator does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Portal and reserves the right to modify, expand, or discontinue the Portal at any time. 2.3. The Operator makes no warranties or representations regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content provided on the Portal, whether by the Operator or by Users. Users rely on such content at their own risk.
3. Disclaimer of Liability
3.1. The Operator shall not be liable for any content posted by Users, including but not limited to texts, images, links, and other information. 3.2. The Operator assumes no responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or legality of any content provided by Users. 3.3. The Operator is under no obligation to monitor User-generated content or to check it for legal violations. If legal violations by User-generated content become known, the Operator will promptly remove such content. 3.4. Users are required to comply with applicable laws and not to post any illegal content on the Portal. Users shall be solely liable for any legal violations or damages arising from their use of the Portal.
4. Payments Between Users
4.1. Any payments or financial transactions conducted between Users in connection with the use of the Portal are solely the responsibility of the Users involved. The Operator is not a party to such transactions and does not act as a payment service provider. 4.2. The Operator assumes no liability for disputes, chargebacks, refunds, or any other issues arising from payments made between Users. 4.3. Users are advised to conduct due diligence before entering into any financial transactions with other Users on the Portal.
5. Indemnification
5.1. The User agrees to indemnify and hold the Operator harmless from any claims, demands, or damages, including reasonable attorney's fees, asserted by any third party due to or arising out of the User's content, conduct, or connection with the Portal. 5.2. The User agrees to bear all costs that may arise for the Operator due to third-party claims, including necessary legal defense costs.
6. User Responsibilities
6.1. Each User is solely responsible for the use of their account and the activities conducted therein. The User must ensure that their account is protected from unauthorized access. 6.2. The User agrees not to engage in any actions that may compromise the security or functionality of the Portal.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
7.1. The Operator is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of the Users in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union where applicable. 7.2. 9. Intellectual Property and Trademark Protection
9.1. All trademarks, service marks, logos, trade names, and other proprietary designations used on or in connection with the Portal are the property of the Operator or its licensors (hereinafter "Marks"). 9.2. Users are not permitted to use, reproduce, or display any of the Marks without the prior written consent of the Operator. Unauthorized use of the Marks constitutes a violation of intellectual property rights and may result in legal action. 9.3. Users are prohibited from registering or attempting to register any Marks, or any similar marks, that may cause confusion with the Operator’s Marks in any jurisdiction.
10. Termination of Use
10.1. The Operator reserves the right to suspend or delete a User's account at any time and without notice, particularly in cases of violation of these T&Cs. 10.2. The User may terminate their account at any time by notifying the Operator. 10.3. Upon termination, the Operator will delete the User’s personal data unless retention is required by law or necessary for legitimate business purposes.
11. Changes to the T&Cs
11.1. The Operator reserves the right to amend these T&Cs at any time. Changes will be communicated to the User via email or through a notice on the Portal. 11.2. The amended T&Cs shall be deemed accepted if the User continues to use the Portal after the changes have come into effect.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
12.1.
